If you've been looking for something "different" in summer living, a place you could call your own, a place that's not far from home in miles but is a world away in relaxation, you've found it. Buttonwood Beach is a unique concept in campground living. The sites are sold on a long-term 99-year renewable lease basis (we do not offer any type of "transient" camping). Each site has underground sewer, water, electric, telephone and cable hook ups. One of the questions that most folks ask is how much does all of this pampering cost? Yearly fees at Buttonwood Beach are much less than you would pay for a summer's seasonal rental at most campgrounds. Our fees last year were around $1,700. They are based on a sharing of the expenses by all of the members in the park (which is why we use the phrase "condo camping"). Our books are audited annually and the yearly fee is subject to change annually depending on actual expenses for the year. As a lessee, you are billed quarterly for these charges. The only other expenses you would have, aside from the original purchase price of the lease and trailer, would be for propane, insurance on your trailer and electricity for your site.

During the summer months, our business office is open daily to pamper campers, handle inquiries and try to assist in every way possible to increase your enjoyment during your stay with us. Located adjacent to our office, the Buttonwood Beach Convenience Store is open daily during the summer months for your convenience. Our store is full of all kinds of goodies - from penny candy (yes - it still exists at Buttonwood) to ice, gasoline for your boat, worms for fishing, ice cream, milk, bread and our ever popular Buttonwood t-shirts, hats and shorts! Don't want to worry about paying when you buy (who wants to carry cash in their bathing suit?) - no problem. Get a Buttonwood Beach store charge card - and be billed for your purchases once a month. Even the kids love to charge their purchases (don't worry - you can limit their credit if you like!).
